” Don’t wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and make them great! Weak men wait for opportunities; strong men make them.” – Orison Swett Marden

This year I want to live on purpose. I want to learn, grow, create, pray, dance, dream, plan, connect, express and live on purpose. To often I feel like a buoy floating and going with life’s currents, never expecting or planning ahead. It’s a boring place to be in and very stagnant. And I think a lot of us give into that mindset. It’s easy to be a buoy. It’s safe. But safe & easy may never get us to where we need or want to go.

It’s good to dream. It’s good to take risks. It’s good to plan and imagine for the future. Living on purpose means you live intentionally. Take the time to think through what life is worth and what is worth being in your life. Set goals and action steps to achieve your dreams or do that thing you always wanted to do but kept putting off. Become the person you always wanted to meet. And choose to live a fuller life.

I am grateful for this beautiful life God has given me. And it’s my responsibility to live it. I’m excited to take on this years challenges and work harder than before to do all the things I dream of. The practical ways my husband and I have applied this vision is by setting goals, setting actions steps & getting organized! Next week Monday I will be sharing the goals & action steps document I came up with to aid us in our vision to LIVE ON PURPOSE (or in my husband’s words “#AttackLife haha).

“Creative risk taking is essential to success in any goal where the stakes are high. Thoughtless risks are destructive, of course, but perhaps even more wasteful is thoughtless caution which prompts inaction and promotes failure to seize opportunity.” -Gary Ryan Blair
