Welcome to my new series EAT, PLAY, OOTD! It’s a quick look into fun activities, great restaurants and plus-size fashion. To see the full 2-min video check it out below.

This EPOOTD is of my first day in Miami Beach. On Thursday I will be releasing EPOOTD Miami Day 2. Stay tuned!

EAT & PLAY HIGHLIGHTS

For lunch we stopped by Grillfish. It was close to the hotel and beach. Their Shrimp Po’Boy with Cajun Mayo was yummy. It wasn’t anything spectacular, but it definitely hit the spot. Later on we met up with Dave’s co-workers for a party at the W South Beach Hotel. The place was gorgeous! We spent time in their lounge by the pool and grabbed a few drinks. And we got to hang out in one of the rooms with the most gorgeous balcony view (watch the video to get a peek). For dinner we checked out a place called Indomania. Their menu offered a mix of asian dishes–mostly of Indonesian and Malaysian influence. I got the Beef Rendang, which is one of my favorite Malaysian dishes. It’s a braised beef in spicy coconut sauce. Who doesn’t love spice and coconut together!?

OUTFIT OF THE DAY

For my OOTD (outfit of the day) I kept it simple and sleek.

WEDGE SANDAL | Calvin Klein $69.95 at DSW

These wedges are so comfy and stylish. I love the contrast of the leather and cork heel. The reptile texture and the gold accent of the buckles is what really makes these wedges unique–they are subtle, but beautiful design choices.

NEWBURY DOUBLE-ZIP SHOPPER | Ralph Lauren

Oh my gosh! This bag is everything! Ha. It is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s a beautiful sleek leather hand bag, with top leather handles and an adjustable shoulder strap. The neat part is its double zipper feature! It is two additional separate compartment perfect for organizing papers, documents, planners etc, while still having all your basic features in the regular compartment. It really is the perfect bag for travel.

SHIFT DRESS IN CAGE MESH | ASOS Curve

And of course here is my dress. I love the cage mesh detail and the cut. The cut of the dress made it super comfortable to wear and it complimented my figure. Although, I did get the length hemmed about 3 inches because it was a bit too long for me. I’m 5’4 ft tall so the dress came down much longer on me than as displayed on the ASOS model, who is 5’10 ft tall.

So, did you like any of these pieces? And what’s your favorite Plus-size brand? Comment below and let me know!
