As I mentioned in the San Francisco Photo Diary, my Husband and I decided every year for our anniversary we would go on a trip. This year we decided to go to California. Our mini road trip along the coast was spectacular. The views were absolutely breathtaking! On our drive down, we stopped by this cute little town, Carmel-by-theSea, to celebrate our actual anniversary night, 04.19.15. I fell in love with the cottage like homes and quaint little shops.

For our anniversary night we ate out at Little Napoli and we stayed the night at Svendsgaard’s Inn. The food was savory. And our room was AMAZING! We had a little fire place, which was perfect for the chilly night, and a hot tub, where we could relax in after all of our little adventures.
In the morning we stopped by Carmel Beach. It was too chilly to fully enjoy it, but once again, the views didn’t fail us. And then we got ready for the long drive south. We stopped by a few beaches along the way. One of my favorite beaches was El Matador–this hidden treasure best enjoyed at sunset.
