I am so excited to announce one of the projects I have been working on! 😱😱😱 I’ve wanted to do this for so long and we are finally doing it!! GUESS WHAT!? We are finally launching MERCH!!!! 🤗🤗🤗. SURPRISE!!! Tomorrow we will be launching our first product! Gahhhh!!! Can you guess what it is? There is a bit of a hint if you swipe through.

I can’t believe we are already half way into the

I can’t believe we are already half way into the year and summer is here! This year did not go at all how I imagined it would have. There was one day I was just so disappointed and heartbroken I started listing out all the incredibly bad things that happened. I felt like I was stuck in the Lemony Snicket stories and it was one unfortunate event after the other. Then I felt convicted because I didn’t list all the good that happened too. So, I made that list too. I sat there and stared at both these lists and cried. Because it has been some of the most painful times but also some of the sweetest and most beautiful things that have ever happened to me. Life couldn’t be more precious. And I am grateful for the refining. I rather be unearthed to grow than stagnant in a dead field. So when the storms have passed and the sun comes up, I get to just bask in all the light, and understand what it means to feel the sun on my skin.
Praying for everyone still in the storms. Love you all!

I just want be here today. This at peace. Lol I had all these plans to start off Monday right but I am exhausted because I didn’t fall asleep until the AM, the fireworks show that happens every night turned into a full blown outdoors club lol. Right outside my bedroom window. Started at 2pm yesterday and not ending until past 6AM this morning. It’s funny but also not. I did not sleep. And today will not go as planned. But it will go on.

It’s okay to pause. Reflect. Take Inventory. Clean-up. Rest. Then get back at it.
Here’s a little something different. I hope it’s a nice little pause in your day.

One thing I love doing daily is taking a moment to breathe and list ten things I’m grateful for. Here are today’s:

1. Grateful for my husband, there is no one like him, and I get to call him mine.
2. Grateful for the air in my lungs. I woke up today and still alive.
3. Grateful for a mother who always supports me, believes in me and cares for me.
4. Grateful for Grace, something God has filled my life with and it has never been the same.
5. Grateful for growth even when it’s uncomfortable
6. Grateful for creativity. My Brain’s happy place.
7. Grateful for mature, supportive and ambitious friends that are really family
8. Grateful for my brother’s jokes that make me laugh even days later
9. Grateful for sunshine
10. Grateful for my fur babies and plant babies.

What I love about our diversity is how beautiful we are together. All the colors, shapes, and uniqueness. Individually we are magnificent, but together we are indescribable. Heading back home from a retreat in college one ye

Heading back home from a retreat in college one year, I was tired and rested my head on his shoulders (we were just friends at this time). In that moment he felt something. Later on that night he watched an old couple on the train do the same thing. It was then he realized he wanted that forever with me. That’s how David would tell you where our love story began. For me, it started in his smile and laugh.

Today is bittersweet. Today is an anniversary for us. But because of our current climate today is also a reminder of some painful times when our love was rejected by people I love. But our love endured and still endures. Because LOVE NEVER FAILS.

Today we celebrate 10 years of our love! 10 years ago today we sat in the East River Park and after three years of friendship we decided we were meant to be more than just friends. It was a decision that would change our lives forever.

10 years of laughter, tears, hard conversations, overcoming, growth, joy, hope and love. 10 years I wouldn’t trade for the world. I would do it all over again. I LOVE YOU BUGS!
David and I decided our love, our marriage would be a new world we would build together. We didn’t want to harbor anger or resentment towards those who rejected our relationship. But we would wait with arms wide open. This didn’t mean it was easy or we no longer felt the pain. And though it took time, MY HAVE WE seen CHANGE! That gives us hope for the future! Hope for our country. Hope for our world.

There is still work to do. And that’s something we continue to be patient with because we understand heart-change doesn’t happen overnight.

We hope our legacy is one that contributes to the change we want to see, centered around love, freedom, and grace. We hope we stand true to our faith and walk this earth like Christ did even when it’s hard. We hope to one day raise Queens and Kings who know they are worthy. Who know they have the right to do more than just breathe. Children who Show love, Create and Dream. Who become leaders who fight against injustices because they serve the KING of kings.

Hey Fam,

We have been overwhelmed and trying to process everything these past few days. It’s a lot. We just keep praying through it, but it’s heavy and heartbreaking. Trying to find words. I can’t even begin to pretend to fully understand the weight, the pain and the experience Black Americans are facing right now.

I had terrible nightmare once, where I was in the body of Black child slave who was killed. It was so vivid and painful. It felt so real and unjust. I woke up in rage and despair. But I can’t even begin to imagine the pain the Black community feels when this nightmare is their REALITY. Their lives are stolen from them. They are being told they are not worthy. My heartaches for our reality. It has ached for so long over this, as none of this is new. I think about my husband, of my future children, my family, my nephew on the way, friends, and people I love. And I think about what is it I could do now to change it for the next generation. What role do I play? What role do us non-Black people have? Sometimes I feel hopeless with out a clear solution. But I trust in God. Prayer, my voice and action are my tools. There is always something we can do! There are also others paving the way and providing resources. There is a LINK IN BIO for a resources doc that audreypatriciaw put me on and more info in my BLM highlights.

To my Black brothers and sisters here is my promise to you! I will lift you up, pray over you, speak up, fight for you and protect you! I SEE YOU. I SEE YOUR PAIN. I HEAR YOU! YOU ARE WORTHY! Breathe and Rest some knowing you need not fight your battle alone! I will not abandoned you, as I believe Christ has not abandoned us. And my hope is this will be a time we will reflect back on when change began, justice reigned and we are victorious. I LOVE YOU! And I am with you!

To my non-Black family, friends, brothers and sisters educate yourself, stand up, speak up, protect, and support. We need to do better in the face of injustice and racism. Let’s not settle for being a bystander.

Let’s come together and drive out the hate with all the mighty ways we can show LOVE in words and in action.
